The Madonna Lift is the new treatment that restores lost youth to the eye without resorting to a lifting. The merit is due to an innovative tool: the CO2 fractional laser that creates tiny microspots and distributes them on the skin surface. These can contract the skin’s collagen (“shrinkage” in technical jargon), stimulating fibroblasts (involved in the creation of new collagen) and causing a visible tension in skin tissue.
To perform non-surgical blepharoplasty, we apply an anesthetic cream around the eye in order to minimize discomfort and pain. We also use metal shields to protect your eye while the laser beam passes over the entire eyelid area.
At the end of the treatment, an antibiotic cream is applied to the area which will be red and slightly swollen for two days. From the day after the treatment, you can apply make-up to cover the redness. One month after the treatment, a lifting effect similar to that obtained with traditional blepharoplasty will be visible – you’ll also notice a notable reduction in periocular fine lines.
The Madonna Lift is a gradual path to regain the youth of your eyes. At SOTHERGA, we recommend 1 to 3 treatments at one month intervals. The effect generally lasts for 3-4 years.
