The Dye laser and the non-ablative fractional laser are two different treatments, used at SOTHERGA for the treatment of stretch marks.
The Dye laser is indicated to treat red stretch marks, which are rich in altered and dilated capillaries and filled with blood. The Dye Laser creates heat inside the stretch mark, coagulates the capillaries, lightens the stria and stimulates the dermis to produce collagen and elastin. White stretch marks can also be treated with the Dye Laser, but the improvement is usually minor. The non-ablative fractional laser is indicated to treat white stretch marks. This type of laser forms thermal micro-columns of overheated dermis and stimulates the formation of new elastic tissue. The sessions last from 10 to 30 minutes, depending on the extent of the area to be treated.
You can quickly get back to your daily activities.
It takes 6 to 8 sessions to get the best results in reducing and softening red and white stretch marks.
